Since the evolution of the uk garage and successful events in 97 - 2002, listening to leading underground stations such as
FlexFm, LushFm,Upfront Fm,DeJaVu +many more, I was inspired by some very excellent producers still around today making music.
Having recorded and listened to a varierty of music from RnB,Rap,Hip Hop, dance to the sounds of vocal uk garage and old skool
sound I decided to invest in a basic DJ setup. From the age of 18 at university I was heavily into the latest productions in uk
garage scene and RnB paying visit to the likes of City Sounds @ Farringdon home of the best labels and promos.
As I built my collection and learnt the art of mixing\beatmatching I just never looked back in 2005 got my first gigs, private
bookings, a radio slot on award winning freeze fm 92.7 and the internet enabled me to focus on guiding my DJ profile and career.
Since 2005 I have played alongside Mike Ruff Cut Lloyd a pioneer in the scene, I have hosted successful private functions in
south london and bedfordshire to crowds of 100- 150 and played across venues outside london such as st albans, milton keynes
and luton.
I have built a massive collection of vinyl - uk garage, old skool, RnB and House music which is still growing!
I currently air on londons leading selectuk 89.6fm every sat 10am-12pm showcasing the best of house and garage music and upload
mixes online@ www.myspace.com/dj_ks.
Most importantly, everything I do related to performing or on radio is for the true love and inspiration that music delivers to
everyday people.
I have a current mix cd labelled "Pure Sexy" which is a blend of the finest house music and a touch of old skool.
