 DJ Biography:

I started djing in 1989 as part of the Shakra Sound System, we played at clubs, parties, raves and festivals across the UK. I had a long hiatus while I was bringing up my children, and am now loving playing out again. I play a wide mix of more laid back classic funk to fast dance beats. I am not a technical wizard but love to play tunes that tell a story, that move people from the heart, songs that are uplifting and have a positive message. I think that women djs are sorely lacking in the music scene, and my style is quite different from a lot of the boys but usually very much appreciated as a breath of fresh air from those ubiquitous relentless beats!
